Biography:
Savitar, also known as the Rival, first appeared in The Flash TV show, specifically season 3. He is a speedster from the future and the main antagonist of that season.
Savitar's true identity is revealed to be a time remnant of Barry Allen/The Flash, created during a previous timeline's battle against Savitar himself. Feeling abandoned and rejected by Team Flash, this remnant developed an intense hatred for Barry and sought to eliminate everyone he cared about.
Driven by a need to become a god and secure his place in time, Savitar utilized the Philosopher's Stone and his advanced knowledge of the future to manipulate events and cause widespread destruction.
He is eventually defeated when Iris West, who Savitar had been attempting to kill, is saved from her demise by H.R. Wells who takes her place.
